FIRM RESOLUTIONS OF A SINGLE MAN

My name is Gabriel Terkuma Ityowuhe. I am a single man.

I know these things are not easy but I ask for help everyday.

This is what is called Personal Development.

🕳I'm not just living casually to one day become a family man, I'm in a battle to create sane men and women from the children I will one day father. The world and it's faculties is all out against this. I'm not unaware of this battle.

🕳As a father, I'm the first person to teach my sons and daughters modesty, spirituality and how to create a balance so they are not knowledge-skewed towards just one aspect of life.

🕳At the end of my life, my truest success is the success at the homefront; my children and my wife.

Whenever I meet someone extolling the successes of my late Father, somehow, my brain beams more light on the failures I saw him as my father more than the successes in the 24 years he fathered me.

God forgive me.
But this is real.

The success of manhood is first at the homefront.

🕳I have a mandate as a man to intentionally raise Godly children; especially those whom God has brought forth into the world through my loins.

🕳Keeping the vow of becoming a responsible father and husband is a process. However, the training starts now that I'm a single man.

🕳 I must take every training on fatherhood seriously because, it is a land I've never been to before. It needs my time, my mind, my heart, my energy and resources

🕳Finally and surprisingly😳, responsible fatherhood and parenting on my part as a man will never happen if I don't see it as a priority. Because, marrying the most virtuous and godly woman doesn't guarantee it.

These are take home lessons from Restoring Biblical ordinances to Family
