WRITING AND ITS ACTS

Every other art form, be it painting, reciting, dancing, playing music becomes a performance while you are doing it. Writing, on the other hand, is a solitary act. Writing can never become a performance. For writing this line, I have had to think, pause, imagine, press backspace and edit, change words, find better words, rewrite and finish only to reread and rewrite it. The process in itself is the most immersive self-exploration a human can do. You cannot watch someone write. It’s too boring for everyone else, other than a writer. The fireworks go on in their mind, the outside world is unaffected. An ongoing story, or narrative, is incomplete to give you the joy that a finished piece can. Unlike music, or dance, or even painting. Where every note or riff that is played, or moves that are swayed, brushstrokes that are done are a treat to watch. Writing is one (wo)man’s job. THE HOME FRONT EDUCATION

  5th October was world teachers day and much was said and celebrated. It has been a thrilling experience for me, teaching in formal and informal settings. Teaching is a powerful forte for some of us and especially when it has to do with instructing life transforming and workable principles to impressionable minds (both young and old). I'm not so excited with the British bookish instruction style we have fully embraced long time ago though. Well, no one cares if I'm a fan or not. It was meant to be what it is. Hehehehe🤣😃 I will however move away from the teacher and the lost soul of education especially in our clime to chip in some counsel to caregivers and parents. I've always believed that while someone is called a parent is because, he has qualified for responsibility to bring in a life into this world and by every effort possible, should be responsible for the growth, development and upbringing of that human being. Goals Four(4) of the sustainable development goals is Quality education.  A quick check on what education is will reveal a process that spans through impacting knowledge and skills to a person or people and changing their crude culture to a more acceptable and valuable one.  This includes developing the capacity and capability of future employees to be able to take up jobs and develop new opportunities for development and sustainable growth. Today, education is a fundamental human right that when enforced, will be capable of developing future employees as job pilpelines for the coming economic growth the nations are looking towards. Therefore, ensuring it holistically covers developing trends around the world cannot be over emphasized. Education is a local issue, local in the sense that it starts from the home and spans throughout the life of a person. WILL OUR ADVOCACIES NOW BE IN VAIN?

The evil rape, is fueled by wickedness, hatred and jealousy and not just by an erection or a desire to satisfy a pleasure.  Daily I and my other brothers(men out there) have multiple erections and sexual urges but because it never gets mixed up with wickedness, hatred and jealousy in our hearts,  it never gets pass our control to press it down and get it dispelled. Yes. So, if rape must be reduced, advocacies alone won't help us. Stern prosecutions won't help us achieve our anticipated results either. But we can get better at our personal ends if we go for the heart where wickedness is bred and cut it down. But if we can't dislodge wickedness from the hearts of men and women, rape and tones of other evil practices  will be here for another period of aeon.  Sorry to say that but we must face it head on. What then can dislodge wickedness from the heart of a man that has already been wicked by default? We must all answer that question. What is my own part at my own end ...
