THE BLAME GAME

_____THE BLAME GAME_____

With it's roots tracing as far back as the Garden of Eden with Mr. Adam as the author, the blame game has moved humanity in its entirety to where we are now. Calculated and unveiled right from the begining of human life on earth, the game of shifting blames has far eaten into the fabrics of every institution in our world today.

Today, young  people blame their foreparents(commonly called #villagepeople) at the slighest of any failure in their struggles. We youths have refused to think out of the way to explore better ways to help ourselves even when we cause most of our problems. Students have always tend to blame their poor academic performance on the situations they have found themselves in and the crop of teachers they have. This same students seem to remain quiet at the dawn of success in their academic pursuits even with thesame teachers they blamed back in time.

I was amazed at a lady who once blamed her beauty for her carefree life; ''the reason I find it difficult to do all this church things is that I am beautiful and no guy sees me and go away without requesting for my contact, so, am afraid because I cannot keep up with the commitments of all that church reqiures you know,'' she said. Very many and more of such thick-witted instances of blame abound in every sphere of human endeavour. Its quite unfortunate.

Successive governments and christian leaderships have been blamed for the predicaments of the led and they(leaders) inturn blame their obnoxious acts on other persons. I keep wondering when all the game of blame will stop, when people will begin to keep quiet and be responsible for their actions and inactions, when bold men will rise up with courage and faith in God to quietly foot the trash left by others and fight it head-on and see that victory comes.

It is true that this game of blame has been old as man but I think something positive can still be done if every one looks inwardly and ask the big question that WHERE HAVE I ERRED AND WHERE IS THE WAY, HOW CAN I  BE HELP OUT RATHER THAN BLAMING?

LESSONS
  •  Blames helps no one. You only get to foot the repercussions of your inactions after blaming it on a cause.
  •  It gets you no where further from your problems. Mr. Adam never escaped the Lord's curse by putting the blames of his woes on Mrs. Eve.

  1. I like the angle you approached this article from; indeed we all need to become responsible for our actions and stop passing the blame to others. Thanks for this great write-up
